Services We Offer

Electrical Engineering

Designing and simulating circuits specific to your application improves performance, reduces BoM count, and minimizes cost. Areas of expertise include; analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, microcontrollers, microprocessors, FPGAs, wireless, and power supplies.

Mechanical Engineering

Thoughtful consideration of form, fit, and function when designing mechanical parts, such as enclosures, improves aesthetics, durability, usability, and manufacturability. Areas of expertise include parts manufactured using CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding, sheet metal forming, and adhesive tape conversion.

Prototyping

Testing and refining complex ideas on the workbench prevents extensive redesigns late in projects and saves time and money.

Schematic Capture

Capturing concise, easy to read schematics is critical for simplifying PCB design, testing and debugging, and future design iterations.

PCB Design and Layout

The PCB, whether rigid, rigid-flex, or entirely flex, is another component that affects the overall system performance. Designing an appropriate PCB stackup and using clean component placement and routing practices are critical for ensuring the final design is appropriately priced, manufacturable (DFM – design for manufacturing), easy to assemble and test (DFA – design for assembly), and easy to iterate.

PCB Manufacturing

Generating a complete PCB CAD package (containing Gerbers, PCB master drawings, etc.) ensures board houses provide accurate quotes, leadtimes, and quality PCBs.

PCB and Product Assembly

Generating a complete PCB assembly package (containing assembly drawings, BoM, pick and place file, etc.) ensures assembly houses provide accurate quotes, leadtimes, and quality PCB assemblies. Generating a complete product design package allows for multisourcing and ensures product consistency, quality, and reliability.

Test and Debug

Often overlooked, but a critical step of product development process, outlining tests and pass/fail criteria prior to manufacturing a product removes ambiguous requirements, allows the designer to consider how features will be tested while designing the product and adjust appropriately (ie. add test points, create custom jigs, etc.), and minimizes test and debug time.

Mass Production

Products produced at a high volume should be reviewed to ensure appropriate profit margins are maintained and manufacturing delays are avoided. This review includes BoM optimization, DMA with high volume in mind, product box design, fulfillment logistics, etc.
